1. Do I need to provide cleaning products?

Yes, for a regular cleaning service we ask that you provide the cleaning equipment and materials for your cleaner to use. This is because many clients have particular products which they prefer to be used in their home. We also like to prevent any cross contamination which could occur if equipment is used in multiple properties. We can often provide equipment for one-off cleans. Please ask when booking.

2. How do I pay?

You will pay the cleaner direct after each clean that they complete for you. Most of our clients will pay their cleaner in cash but it is also fine to pay by bank transfer or card if that is more convenient.

3. Can the cleaner come whilst I am out of the house or at work?

Many of our clients prefer the cleaning to be done whilst they are out of the house. Most of our cleaners are key-holders for at least one client. The location of your keys can be tracked using our online client portal and we never keep your address anywhere near the keys for security reasons. If you do not wish the cleaner to have keys then you could consider fitting a key safe, or letting the cleaner in before you leave for work.

4. Do I meet my cleaner before the first clean?

Of course! We know the cleaner will be in your home and that personalities are often as important as cleaning standards. Once we choose a cleaner for you, we’ll arrange for them to come along and meet you so that you can approve our choice and discuss the cleaning tasks you require. It’s important that your cleaner is someone you like so there’s no need to agree to the first person we send you. Once you’re satisfied that we’ve sent the right person for you, you can then mutually arrange a regular clean day and time. If you’d like to skip the interview and go straight to cleaning this can also be arranged.

5. Can I have an evening or weekend clean?

Yes of course! Our cleaners are fully flexible and will take on evening or weekend cleaning work. Please note in certain areas a supplement hourly charge may be added for cleans after 6pm or at weekends.

6. I would like to book a service for the same day, can this be arranged?

Yes, in case there is an available team or a single cleaner. Simply use our online booking platform to check the service availability.

7. What does the end of tenancy cleaning include?

The move out cleaning is a top-to-bottom clean-up of the whole property. The end of tenancy cleaners follow а agency-approved checklist and clean as many hours as needed until the property is left in the most pristine state. You receive a free dip-tank oven cleaning as a part of your post-lease service. You can get a big discount when you combine the tenancy, carpet or the exterior window cleaning.

8. What if I'm not happy with my cleaner for any reason?

Simply let your local office know of your concerns and we will do all we can to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. We have a large database of approved and vetted part-time casual cleaners, one of whom should meet your needs perfectly.

9. Do you have a minimum number of hours?

Usually the minimum number of hours weekly is two but your local office will be able to inform you of their minimum service criteria.

10. Will I get the same cleaner every week?

Yes. You will get the same dedicated part-time casual cleaner to do your weekly cleaning. That way you will know who is coming into your home each week and your cleaner will be able to work out a routine with you as to what you would like doing on each visit.

 

11. What tasks will the cleaner normally carry out?

Your cleaner will do all the usual vacuuming, dusting and polishing and will clean the bathrooms and kitchen. They will also clean windows if required and most other general household cleaning within your home at your request. By having your own dedicated cleaner you will be able to specify which jobs are done on a weekly basis and which jobs are done on a rotational basis. This way you will receive a service that is tailored to your specific needs.
